Lack of conformity
Statutory conformity rights are separate from the right of withdrawal. Goods must meet their contractual description and applicable quality, usability and other legal requirements.
Remedies
Repair or replacement may generally be requested unless the chosen remedy is impossible or disproportionate. A proportionate price reduction or termination may be available under the statutory conditions. Remedies must be free of charge, completed within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.
Time limits and evidence
For consumer sales of goods, the statutory claim period is generally two years from delivery. A defect discovered during the first year is generally presumed to have existed on delivery unless inconsistent with the nature of the goods or defect. Notify us without undue delay after discovering a defect.
Commercial guarantees and producer liability
A voluntary commercial guarantee does not replace statutory rights. Manufacturer guarantees are stated only with verified terms. Mandatory guarantee coverage depends on the product category and applicable law; we do not claim identical mandatory guarantee coverage for all travel goods. Statutory product warranty rights may also be exercised against the manufacturer where applicable.
